History
North Line Yachts was founded in 1976 as Jachtbouw Zevenhuizen by Rients van Sluis and Henk van der Land on the trading estate Zevenhuizen in Franeker. In the seventies the shipyard started with yacht wainscoting of all types of pleasure yachts. The family firm has vigorously extended its services in the course of the years and in the year 2000 Sipko van Sluis took charge of the firm.
In 2007 the shipyard started production of her own line of ships: North-Line Yachts. Due to the success of the North-Line series, a decision was taken in 2012 to move to new premises, directly onto the Van Harinxmakanaal in Harlingen and the company was renamed: North-Line Yachts.
